Unusually nice set of Spalted West Coast Maple,
sizes: 580 x 248 x 8mm on face sanded
“Spalted timber” does not show the same density nor structural cohesion as regular wood. Tops are glued on solid bodies as a carrier which is particularly important for spalted wood to avoid damages. We also recommend the use filler and appropriate varnish to increase the hardness of the finished surface.
