Unusually nice set of Spalted West Coast Maple,
sizes: 580 x 210 x 8mm, bookmatched, one face surfaced
“Spalted timber” does not show the same density nor structural cohesion as regular wood. Tops are glued on solid bodies as a carrier which is particularly important for spalted wood to avoid damages. We also recommend the use filler and appropriate varnish to increase the hardness of the finished surface.
You will receive exactly the pictured piece.
