Working with olive wood is an experience.
The smell and feel of the wood is unique, its lustre when finished is an eye-catcher!
You will receive a bowl blank in either 20x20x5cm, 25x25x5cm or 30x30x5cm format.
The wood was sawn in 2022 and currently still has a water content of approx. 20%. They are therefore in an ideal condition for pre-turning bowls. The ends of the pieces are protected from cracking with wax.
Natural wood characteristics may include: surface cracks, healthy knots and a cut core, as described in the photos. The pictures are examples. The delivered wood may vary in colour and structure.
