This service covers the application of the CITES-Export Permission for CITES-listed species which shall leave the European Community.
This service is compulsory for any buyer located outside the EC (Norway, Switzerland and GB included).
The current CITES regulation requires one export permit for each type of product.
Example: you need one permit for fingerboards, another for bridges, another for neck blanks and a forth for heels (2 x Rosewood, 2 x Mahagony)
Cost as to be assessed in the light of number of items you have ordered in a mixed consignment!
Besides the fees for the permit (s) in a two-level process there are additional cost for customs clearance.
Before the parcel is processed at the border, it must be registered in the EU-border system.
The forwarder himself presents the parcel to customs with all CITES documents outbound and inbound. Such service is linked to express air freight transportation (UPS Express Saver, DHL-Express).
