This service covers the application of the CITES-Export Permission for CITES-listed wood which will leave the European Community.
This service is compulsory for any buyer located outside the EC (Norway and GB included).
Besides the fees for application there are additional cost for customs clearance.
All of our forwarders rendering such service insist on express air freight transportation (UPS Express Saver, DHL-Express).
This is mainly due to the fact that only few service stations having qualified staff who is familiar with CITES-procedures.
For international forwarding this personnel is apparently stationed in the international airports only.
